Paid Media Rebels Wanted!

The Position

At Nordic Morning we’re looking for people who think and act differently.  We’re looking for people who challenge established thinking.

We believe the traditional agency model is broken and we are rebuilding it from the ground up.  We’re doing away with silos and challenging our clients to do the same.  And we’re replacing them with transparency and co-creation.

But we also believe the traditional retainer model is not the best way to improve the effectiveness of our clients’ media investments.  We pay much more attention to solution architecture as the primary vehicle to deliver a better advertising experiences and offer radical improvements to our clients’ return on ad spend (ROAS).

If you are tired of being a cog in a machine that has stopped working as effectively as it once did and have sensed ‘there must be a better way’, we agree. And we need to meet.

The Position

In the position as Paid Media Solution Architect you have a lead role in setting up better advertising solutions for your clients in collaboration with data and insights, technology and creative specialists. The expectation is that you then support the operational team in executing an appropriate strategy using the newly established set up to deliver radical improvements in performance.

You will contribute to a long term vision and sales plan and build long-term strategic relationships with the clients in your portfolio.

Some of your main responsibilities will be:

  • Lead a cross-functional team of specialists to design the workflows, technology and team setups of paid media operations that deliver significant performance improvements to our clients
  • Lead the implementation of those technologies and workflows including the onboarding and training of operations teams (incl in multi-partner and inhouse ecosystems)
  • Support operations teams in setting an appropriate strategy and omni-channel media plans
  • Support operations teams in executing media plans in a collaborative setting
  • Advisor to the clients in your portfolio (we have an amazing client roster with some of Sweden’s best known brands)
  • Present results from campaigns to clients both in less formal operations settings and towards executives to drive further change
  • Execute strategic meetings with clients
  • Conduct competence development in the field of paid media, both internally with your team and externally with partners or clients

You recognize that even with all your fresh perspectives you can have a greater impact as part of a team which challenges each other’s thinking before aligning their direction.  We believe in working in close collaboration with our clients and their other partners through co-creation.

You have a university degree within marketing and communication, business administration or similar and at least 5 years experience within Paid Media.

You have a great interest in digital marketing and like to understand the bigger picture of the digital landscape.  You know how to gather data and how to present the data so that it’s easy to comprehend and delivers value to your clients.

Desired capabilities:

  • Audience targeting and ROAS optimization workflows
  • Solution architecture mindset
  • A breadth of knowledge across search, social, display, video, and DOOH advertising
  • A breadth of knowledge of digital media technology; from major ad networks, exchanges and DSPs to ad tech such as Google Marketing Platform, Adobe Advertising Cloud, Marin or more specialized platforms such as Smartly.io and Albert.ai.  You will also be familiar with Dynamic Creative Optimization (DCO) technology such as BannerFlow.
  • Deep knowledge of Google’s ecosystem and tools such as Google Ads as well as Google Marketing Platform (primarily Search Ads 360 and Display & Video 360) is a must
  • Deep knowledge in at least one other core area such as social media advertising platforms or dynamic creative optimization is preferred
  • Experience from a digital agency, or inhouse-team that works with digital solutions
  • Ability to gather insight from data and execute next steps accordingly 
  • Speaks and writes in excellent English and Swedish
